In the beginning, there were the Groom, the Date, and the Place.

Let's do Date and Place first: Saturday August 2, at the Memorial Opera House in Valparaiso Indiana.
The reception is to be at the Waterbird Inn in nearby Chesterton.
Valparaiso and Chesterton are located in Northwest Indiana, between 1 and 2 hours from Chicago, depending on how you travel.

Closer to the Big Day, we will be organizing carpools/convoys to get everyone schlepped around on time.

Sharon's fiance', Adam Roney, is from the Valparaiso area, and his Day Job is in computer graphics.

"After the show, we had about an hour to kill before the train left, so we were walking around "looking for an open place to eat" as adam termed it, but what we were really doing was taking me to a romantically-lit plaza so Adam could propose! I wasn't surprised at the proposal in general, for we already have a date and a place set, etc, but I was certainly surprised at the time of :) It was romantic and memorable."
